📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact dealer-facing web applications that process over $4 billion in funded loans annually, directly shaping how thousands of dealerships sell and finance vehicles online and in-store.
• • Architect and implement scalable, data-driven React (Next.js) interfaces that integrate with dozens of third-party services (SOAP/REST/XML/JSON), ensuring millisecond-level performance for real-time credit decisions and inventory updates.
• • Translate complex automotive finance business logic into intuitive user experiences, partnering daily with Product, Design, and Dealer Success to balance pixel-perfect UX against scalability, security, and regulatory constraints.
• • Extend and harden a micro-frontends architecture that supports rapid A/B testing and feature toggles, enabling the Dealer Squad to ship new products weekly without regressions across a multi-tenant platform.
• • Build robust Node.js middleware and APIs that power everything from VIN decoding to lender decisioning, leveraging MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ to handle millions of asynchronous events per day.
• • Champion engineering excellence by authoring TypeScript style guides, Jest/Chai test patterns, and CI/CD pipelines in AWS; mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• • Continuously refactor legacy Handlebars/Pug templates into modern, accessible React components while preserving backward compatibility for 2,000+ active dealership sites.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional squads (Risk, Data, Lending) to design event-driven architectures that feed real-time analytics dashboards and ML credit models.
• • Influence the technical roadmap by presenting RFCs to senior leadership, quantifying trade-offs with latency benchmarks, cost projections, and user-experience impact analyses.
• • Stay ahead of automotive retail trends—e-commerce regulations, digital retailing mandates, and lender API changes—to ensure AutoFi remains the category leader in digital F&I.
