📋 Description

• Senior Frontend Engineer at ClickUp (operating under Mango Technologies, Inc.) to architect and deliver high-impact user experiences in a converged AI workspace that unifies tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, empowering millions of teams to reclaim productivity and break free from work silos.
• Build and refine core product features using Angular 2+ and React in close collaboration with product, design, backend, and integrations teams to ensure seamless, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
• Architect reusable, performant frontend code with strong state management patterns (NgRx/RxJS) and adhere to established frontend architecture to support long-term product scalability and consistency across the ClickUp platform.
• Collaborate with backend and integration teams to deliver end-to-end features, ensuring data flow, API contracts, and UI responsiveness are optimized for real-world usage and edge-case resilience.
• Partner with QA to establish and maintain high test coverage through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, Playwright, and related frameworks, guaranteeing product quality and reliability across browsers and devices.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability limits, and usability issues by profiling frontend behavior, optimizing rendering, and improving load times under real-world conditions.
• Mentor junior engineers, elevate team engineering standards, and contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production, managing priorities, deadlines, and trade-offs while balancing speed with maintainability in a high-velocity product environment.
• Drive innovation by experimenting with AI-enhanced UI patterns and contributing to the evolution of ClickUp’s AI-powered workspace, helping shape how teams interact with intelligent work tools.
• Uphold accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and maintainable styling practices through deep HTML/CSS expertise, ensuring inclusive and polished user interfaces for global audiences.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks, with mandatory proficiency in Angular 2+ or React.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx or equivalent Redux-style state management libraries for building scalable, predictable frontend applications.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, reusable, and performant frontend code with solid foundations in HTML/CSS, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and maintainable styling methodologies.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers, improving team code quality, and advocating for best practices in testing, architecture, and collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, Playwright, or similar frameworks to ensure robust test coverage and regression prevention.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across product, design, and engineering teams in agile, fast-moving environments.
