• Katapult Labs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer with a specialization in Growth and UI to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our nearshore software development agency, you will be instrumental in augmenting and leading product engineering efforts for our US-based clients, with a particular focus on PMF startups and businesses. Our unique team-augmentation model means you'll either become an integral part of our clients' existing product teams or significantly enhance their capabilities. • The core of this project revolves around supporting a critical healthcare platform and spearheading marketing growth initiatives. A significant aspect of this work involves leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to automate complex workflows for independent healthcare practices. You will be at the forefront of developing solutions that streamline operations, improve patient care, and enhance the overall efficiency of these practices. • As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will engage in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with design, engineering, and growth teams. Your primary objective will be to enhance user experiences across multiple touchpoints, including the main application, the company's marketing website, and essential internal tools. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every interface is intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing.

• Key Responsibilities will include the development and enhancement of features for the main application, built on a modern React and TypeScript stack. You will be responsible for ensuring the platform is performant, scalable, and provides an exceptional user experience. This involves translating complex requirements into elegant and efficient code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions.
• A significant part of your role will involve building and maintaining the Next.js marketing site. This requires a strong understanding of SEO best practices, performance optimization, and the ability to create high-conversion designs that effectively communicate the company's value proposition. You will be tasked with delivering engaging, responsive, and visually polished user interfaces that attract and convert potential clients.
• You will also be expected to rapidly prototype frontends for the growth team. This involves quickly iterating on new ideas and concepts, building functional prototypes that can be used for A/B testing and user validation. Your ability to translate growth hypotheses into tangible frontend experiences will be crucial for driving experimentation and uncovering new opportunities.
• Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools designed to enhance team productivity and streamline operations. This could involve building dashboards, utility applications, or other internal systems that support the day-to-day activities of the Katapult team.
• A critical aspect of this role is solving challenging UI and CSS issues. You will need to possess a deep understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design principles, and cross-browser compatibility to ensure a top-quality, consistent experience across all devices and platforms. This includes optimizing for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• You will be an advocate for best practices in frontend development, contributing to the evolution of our design system and ensuring consistency across all client-facing and internal applications. Your expertise will help elevate the overall quality and user experience of our products.
