📋 Description

• Senior Frontend Engineer role focused on building high-performance DeFi interfaces for perpetual trading onboarding flows, connecting users to decentralized futures exchanges like Hyperliquid via LI.FI’s cross-chain infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain React/TypeScript-based user interfaces that enable seamless asset bridging, swapping, and collateral deposition across multiple blockchains, ensuring reliable and intuitive access to perpetual futures markets.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to implement data-rich features such as real-time transaction status, routing options, and execution monitoring using TanStack Query, viem/wagmi, and WebSocket integrations.
• Contribute to frontend architecture by creating reusable UI components with MUI and Tailwind CSS, translating Figma designs into polished, responsive experiences optimized for both mobile and expanding desktop use cases.
• Ensure code quality and system reliability through Vitest-driven testing, performance optimization, and debugging practices while participating in team rituals that emphasize ownership, learning from failure, and inclusive collaboration.
• Join a fully remote, EMEA/LATAM-based team at LI.FI GmbH that values autonomy, continuous growth, and fun-driven engineering culture, with opportunities to shape the future of DeFi liquidity infrastructure.
• Grow expertise in Web3, DeFi, and perpetual trading systems while working on impactful products used by traders and liquidity providers across chains, supported by a strong engineering foundation in modern frontend tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience with proven ability to build complex, data-heavy user interfaces
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript, including state management (Zustand) and data fetching (TanStack Query)
• Experience with DeFi applications, crypto infrastructure, or Web3 products, preferably with exposure to perpetual futures platforms like Hyperliquid or Lighter
• Proficiency in API integration, real-time data handling (WebSockets), and translating Figma designs into production-ready UIs
• Understanding of cross-chain concepts including bridging, swapping, and liquidity routing systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in remote, cross-functional teams
