• Katapult Labs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer with a platform focus to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our core healthcare platform and driving marketing growth initiatives. You will be instrumental in enhancing user experiences across our main application, marketing site, and internal tools, with a significant emphasis on leveraging Artificial Intelligence to automate critical workflows for independent practices.
• In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and growth marketing, to deliver exceptional user interfaces and seamless user journeys. You will be an integral part of a company experiencing rapid growth, fueled by recent seed funding, and you will have the chance to expand your expertise within a talented and supportive environment. Your contributions will directly impact the success and scalability of our platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients and their patients.
• A primary responsibility will be to support the team lead in the development of new features and the enhancement of existing functionalities. This includes translating customer-driven requests and valuable feedback into robust, high-quality code. You will actively participate in initiatives aimed at reducing technical debt within our core React TypeScript application, ensuring its long-term maintainability and performance. By adhering to one-week development cycles, you will contribute to shipping high-quality code rapidly, enabling us to respond swiftly to customer needs and market demands.
• Your technical expertise will be crucial in building and maintaining a scalable platform. This involves not only implementing features but also considering the architectural implications and ensuring that our frontend solutions are robust, efficient, and future-proof. You will be expected to take ownership of features from their initial conception through to their successful deployment in production, demonstrating a proactive and independent approach to problem-solving.
• We are looking for an engineer who understands the importance of a strong design system and component-driven architecture. Your ability to contribute to and leverage our existing design system will be key to ensuring consistency and efficiency across all our frontend applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern frontend development best practices, including state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.

You will work closely with product managers to understand user needs and business requirements, with designers to translate visual concepts into functional interfaces, and with other engineers to ensure seamless integration and code quality.
