📋 Description

• Join Wrike, the most powerful work management platform, as a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on Product Architecture. We are seeking a talented individual to help evolve our technical foundation, client architecture, and development tools, making a significant impact on the Wrike product.
• In this pivotal role, you will have the autonomy to leverage your expertise and make critical decisions that directly influence the Wrike platform. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and learning within a dynamic engineering environment.
• You will be part of an internal team dedicated to enhancing the developer experience and building robust tools that empower our engineering teams. This includes focusing on architecture, performance optimization, security, code and application metrics, as well as developer experience, tooling, and process automations.
• Our team is a close-knit group of 3 engineers, managed by Ivan Sinegovsky, our Technical Engineering Manager, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
• Your primary responsibility will be to identify and address performance bottlenecks within our applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience for our customers.
• You will be instrumental in developing and refining core product features, including but not limited to routing mechanisms, microfrontend implementations, and communication protocols, contributing to the scalability and maintainability of the Wrike platform.
• A key aspect of your role will involve championing the developer experience by creating essential tools, linters, and utilities that streamline the development workflow for our entire engineering team.
• You will implement comprehensive product monitoring strategies, utilizing code metrics, error tracking, and other advanced mechanisms to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, reliable products.
• We embrace innovation and encourage the daily use of modern AI tools, such as coding agents and automation platforms, to accelerate development cycles, enhance code quality, and minimize repetitive manual tasks.
• Our technology stack primarily utilizes React and TypeScript for modern feature development. We leverage Webpack for module bundling, ESLint for code quality, PostCSS for styling, and employ microfrontend architecture for modularity.
• For legacy features, we maintain and evolve applications built with Angular and Dart, requiring an understanding of these technologies.
• We actively promote and support the integration of cutting-edge AI-based tooling and coding agents into our daily development and troubleshooting processes, aiming for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Your work setup will be augmented by modern tools and AI-assisted workflows, ensuring you have the resources needed to excel.
• You will contribute to the architectural design and implementation of new features, ensuring they align with best practices and long-term product strategy.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to translate complex requirements into elegant and performant frontend solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and maintaining high standards of code quality and consistency across the codebase.
• Stay abreast of the latest frontend technologies and trends, evaluating their potential application within the Wrike platform.
• Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring that architectural decisions and implementation details are well-documented for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth and development within the team.
• Drive initiatives related to performance optimization, accessibility, and security best practices within the frontend codebase.
• You will be a key player in shaping the future of Wrike's frontend architecture, driving innovation and ensuring the platform remains competitive and scalable.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of prior relevant experience in frontend engineering.
• Proven experience in optimizing the performance of complex web applications.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing microfrontend-based applications.
• Strong proficiency in web development technologies, including React, Webpack, and Redux.
• Curiosity and demonstrated regular use of AI tools to enhance development workflows.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
