📋 Description

• As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Deel, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the user-facing components of a global HR and payroll platform that serves millions of workers across 150+ countries, directly contributing to the company’s mission of unlocking global opportunity and enabling compliant, seamless international employment.
• You will design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript, collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams throughout the full software development lifecycle to deliver robust, customer-centric features that power Deel’s industry-leading SaaS platform.
• You will join a truly global, remote-first engineering team of over 7,000 people spanning 100+ countries and 74 languages, where collaboration, ownership, and a culture of ‘Together Everywhere’ drive innovation and continuous learning in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization while gaining exposure to complex SaaS systems, FinTech integrations, and global compliance challenges—positioning you as a technical leader in the future of work technology.
• You will have the opportunity to influence product direction from discovery to deployment, advocate for best practices in frontend engineering, and mentor peers through code reviews and technical guidance, all while working on products that process over $11.2 billion in annual payments and serve customers in 109 countries with healthcare and benefits coverage.

🎯 Requirements

• Expert proficiency in TypeScript and React.js, including deep experience with Class Components, Functional Components, and React Hooks
• Strong knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API) and advanced CSS/HTML for building responsive, accessible UIs
• Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 7 years focused on frontend or full-stack development
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in remote, distributed teams and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with Node.js-based backends and understanding of full-stack web application architecture
