• As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer I, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing Axon's critical mobile applications, specifically Axon View and Axon Capture, which are integral to digital evidence management for law enforcement.
• These applications are essential for officers, enabling efficient evidence acquisition and management through seamless interaction with body-worn cameras and cloud-based evidence platforms like Evidence.com.
• You will be instrumental in building and maintaining a high-quality hybrid application that leverages cutting-edge technologies, including ReactJS, Swift, and Java, promoting code reusability across multiple platforms.
• Your expertise will ensure the application's codebase is not only performant but also adheres to the strictest data privacy and security standards, a non-negotiable aspect of our mission.
• This senior-level position requires a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in web technologies, particularly with ReactJS, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.
• You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust features within the Axon App and its associated shared libraries, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with iOS and Android engineers to build a unified hybrid application, fostering an environment where code can be written once and deployed across different mobile operating systems.
• You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment, ensuring end-to-end solutions are delivered effectively.
• Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of law enforcement officers by providing them with reliable tools for capturing and managing critical digital evidence.
• You will actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, embodying agile development principles.
• Collaboration is key; you will work closely with your Scrum team to achieve sprint goals and liaise with other engineering groups to ensure the development of the most impactful and appropriate solutions.
• You will be expected to share your technical wisdom and knowledge candidly and respectfully, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team, the codebase, and the overall product.
• The role involves developing high-quality websites and web modules that are optimized for touch devices and responsive design, ensuring a seamless user experience across various form factors.
• You will have the opportunity to work with hardware capabilities, integrating them into web modules to unlock new functionalities for our mobile applications.
• This position is based in our Ho Chi Minh City office and follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite presence Tuesdays through Fridays to foster in-person collaboration, with flexibility for remote work on Mondays.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality web applications.
• Very strong proficiency in JavaScript and CSS foundations.
• Strong competency in ReactJS, GraphQL, and Redux.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of delivering solid code on schedule.
• Experience working with mobile platforms (hybrid, mobile web) is a significant plus.
