📋 Description

• • Architect the foundational codebase for brand-new ventures in healthcare, cyber, and national-security domains. You will own the entire stack—from database schema and API design to pixel-perfect UI—establishing patterns and standards that future engineers will inherit.
• • Work inside a fast-moving “venture pod” alongside product managers, designers, and domain experts. Together you will move from zero-to-one in weeks, not quarters, validating concepts with real users and iterating at lightning speed.
• • Rapidly prototype features that can be demoed to customers, investors, and government stakeholders. Expect to ship functional MVPs in days, gather feedback, and pivot or double-down based on what you learn.
• • Design and build robust backend services that ingest, process, and expose complex data sets. You’ll choose the right storage (SQL, NoSQL, graph, or vector) and craft APIs that are secure, performant, and developer-friendly.
• • Craft modern, responsive frontends using the latest frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or Svelte) and component libraries. You’ll obsess over user experience, accessibility, and performance to ensure every interaction feels effortless.
• • Spend up to 25 % of your time elevating the digital presence of Red Cell Partners and its portfolio companies. Partner with marketing to translate brand guidelines into high-impact websites, landing pages, and interactive campaigns.
• • Champion engineering best practices: automated testing, CI/CD, containerization, observability, and security-by-design. You’ll set the bar for code quality and mentor junior engineers as the team scales.
• • Collaborate directly with end-users—clinicians, analysts, warfighters—to understand pain points and co-create solutions. Your code will directly influence patient outcomes, cyber resilience, and national security.
• • Travel up to 10 % for bi-annual All-Hands summits, customer site visits, and off-site design sprints. These gatherings are high-energy, strategic, and essential for aligning the entire Red Cell ecosystem.
• • Stay on the bleeding edge. Evaluate new languages, frameworks, and cloud services, then pragmatically adopt what gives the venture a competitive edge. Your curiosity will keep the company ahead of adversaries and market shifts.
• • Own reliability and scalability from day one. Whether handling PHI in a HIPAA-compliant stack or securing classified workloads in GovCloud, you’ll design systems that are resilient under adversarial conditions.
