📋 Description

• • Own the Uncountable Web Platform end-to-end: architect, build, and continuously improve the system where thousands of scientists from Fortune 500 companies upload, store, and analyze complex experimental data. You will be the technical anchor for a product that accelerates breakthroughs in materials science, pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals.
• • Split your time evenly between front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless user experiences while scaling a data-intensive application that handles terabytes of experimental results. You’ll write React/TypeScript components that feel as intuitive as consumer apps and Python/Flask services that remain rock-solid under enterprise load.
• • Lead customer-facing deployments: travel (virtually or on-site) to global R&D labs, gather feedback from bench chemists and data scientists, and translate their needs into elegant software solutions. Your code will directly influence how researchers design the next generation of batteries, polymers, and life-saving drugs.
• • Drive architectural decisions that balance rapid feature delivery with long-term maintainability. From database schema design in Postgres to caching strategies with Redis, you will set standards that keep latency low and uptime above 99.9%.
• • Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, design reviews, and brown-bag sessions. Your leadership will shape a culture of clean code, automated testing, and continuous deployment that ships to production multiple times per day.
• • Champion modern JavaScript best practices—ES6+, hooks, state management with Redux, and CSS-in-JS—while keeping accessibility and responsive design front-of-mind. Every pixel should feel purposeful and every interaction should delight.
• • Optimize data pipelines that ingest experimental measurements, metadata, and images, then surface them through interactive visualizations. You’ll leverage Postgres indexing, materialized views, and GraphQL to let scientists slice and dice data in real time.
• • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and domain experts to define roadmaps that reduce experiment cycle times from weeks to hours. Your technical insight will turn ambitious product visions into shippable increments.
• • Implement robust security and compliance controls (SOC 2, GDPR) that protect proprietary research while enabling cross-team collaboration. You’ll design role-based access, audit logs, and encryption at rest that satisfy the strictest enterprise requirements.
