📋 Description

- • Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and implementing full-stack features for client applications in collaboration with other NextLink engineers, conducting demonstrations and gathering feedback directly from clients to ensure alignment with business needs, reviewing and refactoring legacy codebases to identify and remediate technical debt, participating in agile workflows with weekly stand-ups and sprint planning, performing thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge, contributing to internal documentation and reusable code templates to improve team efficiency, creating technical content such as blog posts and webinars to establish thought leadership, and assisting Sales and Marketing teams during client scoping calls by providing feasibility assessments and architectural recommendations.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional experience building web applications with strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React or equivalent frontend/backend frameworks
- • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of software engagements, and scope features or full projects based on client requirements
- • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to build client buy-in, facilitate compromise, and manage expectations effectively
- • Strong unit-testing and debugging expertise using tools such as RSpec/Minitest for Rails and Jest/RTL for React
- • Proficient understanding of Git for version control, along with experience working with REST/GraphQL APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and background job processing (Sidekiq/Active Job)
