- • Lead full-stack architecture and implementation for a cloud-hosted federal platform designed to replace legacy systems and modernize mission-critical government operations
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and DevSecOps engineers within a SAFe Agile environment to deliver production-quality software
- • Design and implement frontend interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) with high fidelity to UX designs
- • Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support legacy system migration and retirement
- • Build and optimize AI-assisted development workflows using agentic AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor for code generation, testing, and review
- • Contribute to DevSecOps pipeline configuration, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- • Ensure all code meets stringent federal quality metrics, including zero Sev 1/2 defects and fewer than five Sev 3 defects per component
- • Participate in architecture design reviews and support ATO (Authority to Operate) documentation with security-compliant code
- • Establish and enforce engineering best practices through mentorship, code reviews, and team guidance
- • Implement cloud-native solutions on FedRAMP-compliant environments such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government
- • Design and manage RESTful APIs and data models using relational and/or NoSQL databases
- • Apply federal security standards including NIST 800-53 and STIG compliance throughout the software development lifecycle
- • Drive continuous improvement in delivery speed and system reliability through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
🎯 Requirements
- • Active Secret security clearance
- • U.S. citizenship
- • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack depth
- • Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend languages (Java, Python, Node.js, or Go)
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or equivalent FedRAMP environments)
