📋 Description

• Architect and own the end-to-end lifecycle of micro-services that ingest, transform, and serve over 2.2 billion daily requests and 2 billion real-time notifications, ensuring sub-second latency for Fortune 500 clients such as Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, Singapore Airlines, Nestlé, Nissan, Lenovo, Puma, IKEA, Allianz, and Domino’s.
• Design and evolve horizontally-scalable backend systems in Go, Node.js, and PHP-Laravel that power Insider One’s integrated Customer Data Platform (CDP), unifying terabytes of behavioural, transactional, and predictive data to drive AI-driven personalisation across WhatsApp, SMS, Email, Web, App, and Site Search channels.
• Build resilient, high-throughput event pipelines that process hundreds of thousands of events per second, leveraging streaming technologies to enrich, aggregate, and surface actionable insights to both internal analytics teams and customer-facing dashboards in real time.
• Craft elegant, performant Vue.js interfaces that visualise complex data sets, enabling marketers to orchestrate journeys, A/B-test creatives, and measure uplift without ever leaving the Insider One workspace.
• Continuously optimise data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) for read/write efficiency at petabyte scale, implementing partitioning, indexing, caching, and retention strategies that balance cost, speed, and compliance.
• Champion observability by integrating distributed tracing, metrics, and alerting into every service you touch, turning potential outages into proactive fixes before customers notice.
• Collaborate in cross-functional agile squads with data engineers, ML scientists, product managers, and UX designers in Istanbul and Ankara, translating ambitious product visions into shippable increments every two weeks.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes and AWS, enabling zero-downtime deployments and automated rollbacks across nine global products serving 25 % of the world’s internet users.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and Tech Talks, raising the technical bar while fostering Insider One’s culture of curiosity, speed, and social impact.
• Experiment fearlessly—prototype new event-driven patterns, evaluate gRPC vs REST trade-offs, and pilot emerging storage engines—knowing that your discoveries may become the next standard across 30 offices and 1,500 colleagues.
• Uphold security and privacy best practices, ensuring GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 27001 compliance while handling sensitive customer data for 2 000+ brands.
• Drive post-incident reviews and blameless retrospectives, turning lessons learned into durable improvements in reliability, documentation, and team resilience.
• Represent Insider One at internal hackathons, open-source meetups, and industry conferences, sharing knowledge that reinforces our position as the #1 leader in marketing and customer engagement platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of production-grade experience in Go, PHP (Laravel), or Node.js, with proven ability to design and scale micro-service architectures handling 1B+ requests/day.
• Deep expertise in Vue.js (or React/Angular with a commitment to learn Vue) and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, TypeScript) to build data-rich dashboards.
• Demonstrated success with distributed data systems—PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse or similar—at petabyte scale, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native CI/CD on AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) or equivalent GCP/Azure services.
• Strong grasp of observability and reliability: distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry/Jaeger), metrics (Prometheus/Grafana), and alerting (PagerDuty/Opsgenie).
• Nice-to-have: contributions to open-source projects, experience with event streaming (Kafka, Pulsar), and familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
