📋 Description

• • Senior FX Trader role focused on leading trading efforts in high-growth, complex currency corridors to drive P&L performance, expand liquidity networks, and scale automated trading ecosystems at Verto, a mission-driven fintech democratizing global finance for businesses in Emerging Markets.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the daily trading book, optimizing P&L through high-velocity flow book management, spearheading market-making strategies in illiquid currencies (NGN, KES, TZS), executing high-value OTC transactions, managing risk and compliance, collaborating with Middle Office and Treasury for trade settlement, and partnering with Product and Engineering to automate trading workflows and increase Straight-Through Processing rates.

• • In this role, you will drive sustainable P&L growth, enhance capital efficiency, mitigate balance sheet risk through hedging, expand counterparty networks including Tier-1 banks and local liquidity providers, provide market insights to inform business strategy, and champion operational excellence while advancing automation and scalability in trading operations.
