- • Lead the development and delivery of actionable insights and analysis in response to key business questions within the gaming sector, including Marketing, CRM, casino operations, and poker operations.
- • Collaborate with gaming and BI teams to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies across the business.
- • Work within a sprint-based structure to manage and complete both short-term and long-term analytical projects while meeting deadlines.
- • Interface regularly with internal stakeholders to identify business priorities and align analytical efforts with strategic objectives.
- • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, data models, and data-as-a-service solutions to support analytics and business intelligence needs.
- • Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools to generate insights that drive data-driven decision-making.
- • Manage and maintain codebases using Git version control, adhering to best practices for collaboration, documentation, and deployment.
- • Utilize visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to communicate findings; prefer experience with Power BI and DAX.
- • Present analytical recommendations and business insights to key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- • Work with large, complex, and sometimes incomplete datasets to extract meaningful patterns and inform business strategy.
- • Support a culture of data-driven decision-making by proactively proposing new analytical approaches and business ideas.
- • Efficiently manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse business priorities within the gaming industry.
- • Ensure compliance with BetMGM’s responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- • Maintain business-standard proficiency in written and spoken English for clear communication across teams and leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL
- • Advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R)
- • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau (Power BI and DAX preferred)
- • Experience leading analytical strategies across commercial business functions
