Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end creative process for high-impact paid social, video, and programmatic campaigns that move the needle for venture-backed consumer brands. From the first brief to the final pixel-perfect asset, you will ideate, design, and deliver scroll-stopping creative that drives measurable growth.
- • Partner directly with our Creative Director and cross-functional Growth, Analytics, and Account teams to translate brand strategy and performance data into breakthrough visual concepts. Your work will live on Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels—reaching millions of users every week.
- • Lead client-facing creative presentations, articulating the “why” behind every design decision and securing buy-in from founders, CMOs, and brand managers. You’ll become a trusted advisor, translating complex performance insights into simple, compelling stories that inspire action.
- • Build and maintain a living library of best-practice templates, motion toolkits, and brand style guides that empower junior designers and external partners to scale creative volume without sacrificing quality or consistency.
- • Rapidly iterate on creative based on real-time performance signals—CTR, CPA, ROAS, and retention—turning data into design hypotheses that you can test, learn from, and optimize within hours, not weeks.
- • Champion a culture of creative excellence and experimentation. You’ll run weekly “show-and-tell” sessions, share platform-specific trend reports, and mentor up-and-coming designers to level up the entire team’s craft.
- • Collaborate with our in-house video editors and motion designers to extend static concepts into thumb-stopping motion assets, ensuring every frame is optimized for sound-off autoplay environments.
- • Stay ahead of platform updates, ad policy changes, and cultural moments—quickly translating them into timely, relevant creative that keeps our clients ahead of the curve and the competition.
- • Balance speed and polish: deliver 50+ high-quality assets per week during peak campaign launches while maintaining meticulous file hygiene, naming conventions, and version control that keeps production running smoothly.
- • Contribute to Headlight’s thought-leadership content—case studies, blog posts, and conference talks—that showcase our creative philosophy and attract the next generation of world-class brands and talent.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing performance-first creative at a growth marketing agency, DTC brand, or high-growth startup
- • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator & Photoshop) and Figma; After Effects motion skills strongly preferred
- • Proven track record of producing thumb-stopping paid social assets for Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, and YouTube that drove measurable lift in CTR, CPA, or ROAS
- • Exceptional storytelling and client-presentation skills—comfortable selling creative concepts to senior stakeholders and iterating based on feedback
- • Ability to thrive in a 100 % remote environment: self-directed, highly organized, and an over-communicator across Slack, Zoom, and Notion
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary plus performance bonuses and clear pathways to Creative Director-level advancement
- • 100 % employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for you; 50 % for dependents
- • Unlimited PTO policy with a 3-week minimum encouraged and company-wide mental health days
- • 401(k) with immediate vesting and 4 % company match
- • Work-from-anywhere flexibility—been fully remote since day one with annual team retreats in inspiring locations
