đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Pattern, a global leader in e-commerce acceleration, as a Senior GRC Analyst and play a pivotal role in fortifying the security, risk, and compliance (GRC) framework of our cutting-edge SaaS platform. Headquartered in Utah's vibrant tech hub and operating across continents, Pattern empowers hundreds of global brands to achieve over $1 Billion in revenue by expanding their online sales in more than 60 countries. Recognized for our rapid growth by Deloitte and leadership by Inc., we are also celebrated by Newsweek as one of the Global Most Loved Workplaces®, underscoring our commitment to an exceptional employee experience.
  • • In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our platform not only meets but exceeds stringent regulatory, contractual, and customer-driven compliance mandates. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of data privacy, security standards, and the responsible implementation of emerging technologies, particularly AI.
  • • You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and Legal, fostering a culture of security and compliance throughout the organization. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of a secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environment, underpinning our clients' global e-commerce success.
  • • A key aspect of your responsibility will involve supporting our audit readiness initiatives. This includes actively participating in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring that our controls are robust and effectively implemented. You will contribute to the design, testing, and ongoing monitoring of these controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remediation plans.
  • • You will also be deeply involved in the development and refinement of our GRC policies and standards. This entails researching industry best practices, understanding evolving regulatory landscapes, and translating these insights into actionable policies that guide our operations and technology development. Maintaining and updating these documents will be an ongoing requirement, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
  • • Continuous compliance monitoring will be a core function, where you will leverage various tools and processes to track adherence to established controls and policies. Identifying deviations, investigating root causes, and recommending corrective actions will be essential to maintaining our compliance posture.
  • • Furthermore, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Pattern's emerging AI governance initiatives. You will assist in conducting comprehensive risk assessments for AI-enabled technologies, documenting their usage, and establishing oversight mechanisms to ensure their responsible and ethical deployment. This includes evaluating potential risks associated with AI, such as bias, data privacy, and security vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • • You will be a key contributor to building and maintaining a strong risk management program. This involves identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks across the organization, developing risk treatment plans, and monitoring their effectiveness. Your insights will help leadership make informed decisions regarding risk appetite and mitigation strategies.
  • • The Senior GRC Analyst will also support vendor risk management, assessing the compliance and security posture of third-party providers to ensure they meet Pattern's standards and contractual obligations.
  • • You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and AI governance frameworks. This continuous learning will enable you to proactively adapt our GRC strategy to emerging threats and opportunities.
  • • Ultimately, your work will ensure that Pattern's platform remains trusted, secure, and compliant, enabling our clients to confidently grow their businesses on a global scale. You will be a guardian of our integrity and a facilitator of innovation within a secure framework.

  • • Experience with audit processes (internal and external), control design and testing, and policy development.
  • • Familiarity with AI governance principles, risk assessment methodologies for AI, and responsible AI practices is highly desirable.
  • • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex GRC concepts to diverse audiences.
