- • Senior Helpdesk Engineer at Tanium Inc. plays a critical role in ensuring IT and employee productivity by resolving complex technical issues across hardware, software, networks, and identity systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as the escalation point for technical issues, diagnosing and resolving high-impact problems across endpoints and SaaS tools, owning tickets end-to-end with SLA compliance, leading incident response, identifying systemic issues, mentoring junior staff, improving helpdesk workflows, managing user provisioning and access controls, supporting collaboration platforms like Zoom and Teams, administering IT asset lifecycles, maintaining conference room readiness, and contributing to IT projects that enhance service delivery.
- • The role operates within Tanium’s IT team in Krakow, Poland, working hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in the office, alongside a talented group of IT and security professionals focused on quality and long-term success.
- • The engineer will gain deep expertise in enterprise IT environments, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint security, cloud identity, and Tanium’s own platform, while developing leadership and process improvement skills through mentoring, project involvement, and proactive problem-solving.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant technical support experience
- • Proven problem-solving skills with expertise in Windows and macOS environments, including productivity and collaboration software
- • Hands-on experience with user and group management in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP) and ability to resolve connectivity issues
- • Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) to track and resolve support requests
- • Exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals, including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and compliance
- • Practical knowledge of endpoint protection and MDM solutions
- • Experience supporting remote users, SaaS productivity suites, and cloud identity platforms
- • Experience providing executive and VIP support
