📋 Description

• As a Senior HPC Support Engineer specializing in Ethernet and AI Infrastructure, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for a prestigious NVIDIA customer, providing onsite and remote support to ensure seamless deployment, operation, and optimization of NVIDIA’s advanced networking and AI solutions.
• You will spend a minimum of one week per month at the customer site in College Station, TX, resolving complex technical issues related to NVIDIA Ethernet Switching technologies, Spectrum-X, and Linux-based systems through research, reproduction, and systematic troubleshooting.
• You will collaborate closely with NVIDIA’s Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams to relay customer feedback, influence product improvements, and refine support processes and documentation.
• Your role involves responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and conference calls, diagnosing and resolving interoperability issues during installation, operation, and maintenance, while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and technical ownership.
• You will develop and standardize troubleshooting methodologies and best practices for internal teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of NVEX Global Technical Support operations.
• This position demands deep expertise in enterprise networking, Linux system administration, and AI infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on proactive problem-solving, cross-functional communication, and technical leadership in high-stakes environments.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience providing in-depth customer support and debugging for hardware and software products, particularly in enterprise networking environments.
• A degree in Networking, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience applying AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) in daily work responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise platforms and Linux system administration, including the ability to troubleshoot hardware and OS-level issues.
• Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, RoCE, QoS) and hands-on proficiency with diagnostic tools like TCPDUMP and Wireshark.
• Familiarity with data centers, virtualization, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and distributed systems.
