  • • We are seeking a highly motivated and client-oriented Senior HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR team in Brussels for a temporary maternity cover position, spanning approximately 4 to 6 months, commencing in March 2026.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the HR function within our Brussels office, specifically supporting the Antitrust and Foreign Investment (AFIG) practice group.
  • • As an HR Advisor, you will be instrumental in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the team's recruiter. This includes coordinating all recruitment-related activities, from initial execution through to comprehensive reporting, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for attracting top talent.
  • • You will play a crucial role in onboarding new joiners, providing them with a welcoming and supportive experience as they integrate into the firm. Equally, you will manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring all procedures are handled professionally and with care.
  • • A key responsibility will be the coordination of secondments for individuals working both within and from our Belgian office to various global locations, requiring meticulous planning and communication across different jurisdictions.
  • • You will serve as the primary HR point of contact for lawyers and Business Services staff, addressing a wide range of HR-related queries and issues. Your expertise will be vital in providing timely and effective solutions, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • • This role involves active participation in both transactional and transformational HR projects. You will contribute to initiatives focused on critical areas such as performance management, employee health and wellbeing, and remuneration strategies, aligning with the firm's commitment to its people.
  • • You will be an integral part of a collaborative HR team, reporting directly to the Head of HR Belgium. In specific project areas, you will also liaise with and receive direction from Partners and Managers, gaining exposure to senior leadership.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a business-minded approach, ideally with a Master's degree, and a minimum of three years of experience in a professional services environment where people management skills have been a key differentiator.
  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, enabling you to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • • You should be a flexible, pragmatic, and proactive team player, adept at managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results.
  • • Excellent organizational and project management skills are required to effectively handle diverse HR responsibilities and projects.
  • • A meticulous work ethic and a commitment to delivering work of the highest quality are paramount.
  • • Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for this role, given the international nature of the firm and its operations.
  • • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is expected, with the ability to independently compile and present reports.
