📋 Description

• Coordinate and conduct pre-employment background checks for new hires in India, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Prepare and distribute employment offer letters to selected candidates, maintaining accuracy and timeliness in communication.
• Manage and deliver welcome kits to new joiners to foster a positive and engaging onboarding experience.
• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for all India-based hires, including scheduling onboarding sessions and mandatory training programs.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for India-based roles: opening job postings, conducting intake meetings with hiring managers, reviewing applications, screening and interviewing candidates, and managing the process to offer acceptance.
• Administer payroll processing for India employees, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant disbursements.
• Maintain and administer employee benefits programs in India, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Execute employment verifications and respond to external HR inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Maintain up-to-date holiday calendars for India operations and communicate changes to employees and managers.
• Ensure compliance with Indian employment laws and company HR policies across all HR functions.
• Maintain accurate and secure employee records in the HRIS system, including processing updates for lateral moves, compensation adjustments, and other personnel changes.
• Regularly audit employee data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting discrepancies promptly.
• Respond to employee and manager HR queries in a timely, clear, and professional manner, providing accurate guidance on policies and procedures.
• Support managers and employees with efficient processing of HR-related actions, including leaves, promotions, terminations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the U.S.-based HR team to align India operations with global HR standards and ensure seamless cross-regional support.
• Act as the primary HR point of contact for India-based employees, fostering a positive employee experience and promoting company culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 4+ years of overall HR experience at a U.S. company and 2+ years of experience in recruiting
• Willingness and ability to overlap a few hours with the U.S. timezone
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, payroll administration, and benefits compliance
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in India
