📋 Description
- • Senior II Fullstack Engineer role focused on building emerging products and contributing to Vanta's Product Platform, with direct impact on customer onboarding, engagement, and time-to-value through the Activation and Third Party Risk Management teams.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to roadmap planning with EM and PM, leading complex cross-functional projects, mentoring engineers, collaborating across teams on shared initiatives, and making technical tradeoffs that balance business needs, user experience, and long-term sustainability.
- • Vanta is a fast-growing trust management platform founded in 2018, helping businesses continuously monitor and prove security compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) with a mission to restore trust in internet businesses; the company serves thousands of customers and is scaling rapidly with offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney.
- • In this role, you will deepen your fullstack expertise, lead high-impact initiatives, shape engineering culture, and grow as a technical leader while working on 0→1 products and large-scale systems in a bias-for-action environment that encourages responsible AI adoption.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of full stack experience with an emphasis on backend skills
- • Experience leading teams of engineers to deliver large projects spanning multiple weeks or months with multiple stakeholders
- • Experience building user-facing SaaS products over multiple years, ideally for both startups and enterprise users
- • Experience building 0→1 products and solving large-scale problems in fast-paced, action-oriented environments
- • Experience with Typescript is a plus (Vanta's stack: React, Typescript, GraphQL, MongoDB)
- • Open to using AI responsibly to amplify skills and improve efficiency with sound judgment and curiosity
