Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Implementation Consultant (Advanced Risk Assessment) at Sphera Holdings, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enabling global organizations to manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability risks through the successful deployment of Sphera’s Advanced Risk Assessment (ARA) software. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating safer, more sustainable industrial operations by translating complex client needs into precise system configurations that drive compliance, reduce risk, and improve operational resilience.
- • You will own the end-to-end design and implementation of client projects, serving as the primary technical and functional bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams. This includes leading requirements gathering, configuring the ARA platform to align with client workflows, managing project backlogs, facilitating daily stand-ups, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, to specification, and with minimal rework — all while upholding Sphera’s core values of Customer Centricity, Accountability, Bias to Action, Innovation, and Collaboration.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams (including Product, Engineering, and QA) and external client stakeholders such as EHS managers, process engineers, and operations leads to capture, document, and validate business processes. Your ability to translate technical functionality into clear, actionable requirements will be critical in ensuring the ARA solution is not only implemented correctly but also adopted successfully across client organizations.
- • Sphera is a Blackstone-backed global leader in ESG software, serving thousands of clients across high-risk industries including oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. Joining our rapidly expanding Services team means working alongside passionate, mission-driven professionals who are committed to advancing global safety and sustainability through innovative technology — with opportunities to grow into leadership roles as the company scales.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise software implementation, process safety risk management methodologies (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA), and Agile/Waterfall project delivery frameworks. You will gain hands-on experience configuring complex EHS systems, advising Fortune 500 clients on best practices, and influencing product evolution through direct feedback from real-world implementations — positioning you as a trusted advisor in the ESG technology space.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience applying Process Safety Risk Management methodologies including HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, or similar risk assessment techniques in industrial or EHS contexts.
- • Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 2–3 years of consulting experience or 3–5 years of systems analysis in a consultancy or enterprise software environment.
- • Demonstrated ability to capture, document, and translate client business processes into software requirements, including creating detailed functional specifications, managing project backlogs, and leading iteration planning in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to work remotely from the UK with a global leader in ESG software backed by Blackstone, offering stability, innovation, and long-term career growth.
- • Exposure to high-impact projects with multinational clients in critical industries, allowing you to build deep expertise in process safety, risk management, and enterprise SaaS implementation.
- • Collaborative, values-driven culture that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and continuous learning — with support for professional development and leadership growth.
