Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Senior Implementation Engineer at Katana Manufacturing OÜ, a remote-first, AI-first SaaS company building inventory and manufacturing software for 1,500+ businesses worldwide. You will own end-to-end implementation of Katana for high-value, complex accounts — multi-channel, multi-location merchants with intricate inventory and manufacturing operations — ensuring successful go-lives that protect revenue and scale across the team.
- • Day to day, you will lead technical discovery, design system architecture, build and configure integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, accounting, shipping, EDI), migrate data (BOMs, catalogs, stock, suppliers), configure Katana, and get customers live with confidence. You’ll use AI tools like Claude to build accelerators and scripts, partner with Sales and Customer Success on pre-sales and expansion, mentor Solution Engineers, and take ownership of implementations from start to finish — not managing from a spreadsheet, but building in the system.
- • Katana is a 100+ person team across 10+ countries, expanding into larger, more complex markets. The company values builders who turn what works into reusable tooling and playbooks, with direct impact on revenue and product. You’ll work in a high-touch, customer-facing role where your solutions enable Customer Success and Sales, and your work is seen as revenue-enabling, not background work.
- • In this role, you will learn to solve real-world operational complexity at scale, build reusable integration solutions and migration playbooks adopted by the team, shorten implementation cycle times, own Katana Advantage implementations (premium tier), and grow your expertise in AI-augmented delivery, API tooling, and multi-system integration — all while being recognized for builder instincts and ownership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Track record of leading full software implementations end-to-end for high-value or complex accounts in B2B SaaS, ERP, MRP, or inventory and manufacturing software
- • Direct, hands-on experience with inventory and manufacturing operations — understanding how production, stock, and fulfilment run across channels and locations
- • Hands-on API and integration experience: building or configuring integrations across e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce), accounting, shipping, and EDI
- • Comfort working directly in systems — configuring, mapping and migrating data, troubleshooting integrations, and building workarounds
- • Strong technical discovery and solution design — translating real-world operations into working system configurations
- • Excellent communication — leading technical conversations with customers and explaining complex setups clearly
- • Comfortable with AI and eager to build with it — using tools like Claude to solve problems and move faster
- • Bonus: scripting (JavaScript, Python, SQL); iPaaS or middleware (Make, Zapier); experience with MRP, ERP, or inventory platforms; or having built something with Claude or Claude Code
🏖️ Benefits
- • Market-aligned base salary
- • Employee Stock Option Program — you share in what you build
- • Time off that's genuinely encouraged: statutory annual leave, global minimum of 4 weeks, 3 paid health days annually, and your birthday off
- • Fully paid 1-month sabbatical + 1,000 EUR travel budget after every four years at Katana
- • Home office stipend to help you create a setup that works for you
- • Health & wellness package through Sun Life
- • Modern tools and tech, including AI-enabled tools that help you work smarter and stay focused on high-impact work
