Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the full implementation lifecycle for AssetWorks’ flagship AiM, ReADY, and GO platforms, guiding public-sector and higher-education clients from kickoff through go-live and beyond. You will be the face of the product, translating complex business needs into elegant software solutions that keep communities running safely and efficiently.
  • • Deliver high-impact training sessions—both virtual and on-site—to audiences ranging from C-suite executives to end-users in the field. You’ll create role-specific curricula, quick-reference guides, and e-learning modules that shorten the time-to-value and drive adoption across every level of the organization.
  • • Conduct rigorous Business Process Analysis (BPA) to uncover pain points, map current-state workflows, and design future-state processes that leverage AssetWorks’ best practices. Your recommendations will directly influence how clients manage fleets, facilities, energy, and infrastructure for years to come.
  • • Architect and execute data-migration strategies that move millions of legacy records—from asset hierarchies to work-order histories—into AiM/ReADY/GO with zero tolerance for data loss. You’ll write SQL queries, validate mappings, and run reconciliation scripts to ensure every bolt, building, and budget line lands in the right place.
  • • Author crystal-clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation that empower clients to sustain their new systems long after you roll off the project. Your writing will become the internal playbook that maintenance crews, facility managers, and finance teams rely on daily.
  • • Configure the software to match each client’s unique requirements—setting up preventive-maintenance schedules, crafting approval workflows, and tailoring dashboards—while still preserving the upgrade path. You’ll balance out-of-the-box functionality with creative problem-solving to hit every contractual milestone.
  • • Lead system testing and validation cycles, designing test scripts, coordinating UAT sessions, and triaging defects until the solution meets AssetWorks’ rigorous quality standards. Your sign-off is the green light that tells the client they are ready for production.
  • • Provide go-live “command-center” support—24/7 if needed—during cutover weekends. You’ll troubleshoot real-time issues, calm nerves, and celebrate the first successful work-order closure with the client team you’ve grown to know like family.
  • • Capture and document custom interface requirements between AssetWorks and third-party systems (ERP, GIS, telematics, IoT sensors). You’ll translate technical specs into user stories that developers can build, test, and deploy without rework.
  • • Travel up to 50 % to client sites across North America, building trust through face-to-face workshops, facility walk-throughs, and on-the-floor coaching. When you’re not on the road, you’ll collaborate with a distributed team of product managers, developers, and fellow consultants who share your obsession with customer success.
  • • Mentor junior implementation specialists, sharing proven methodologies, SQL tricks, and presentation hacks that accelerate their growth. Your feedback will shape the next generation of AssetWorks experts and strengthen our delivery engine.
  • • Continuously improve our implementation toolkit by contributing to internal knowledge bases, suggesting product enhancements, and piloting new automation scripts. Your innovations will reduce deployment timelines and delight future clients.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years hands-on experience as a user, administrator, or implementer of AssetWorks AiM, ReADY, or GO software
  • • Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
  • • Prior employment or consulting background within public-sector or higher-education facilities organizations
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and Word for data analysis and documentation
  • • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50 % across the United States
  • • Basic knowledge of JavaScript is a plus for configuring ReADY workflows and custom forms

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses tied to on-time, on-budget project delivery
  • • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting day one, with 100 % premium coverage for employees
  • • 401(k) plan with immediate company match and profit-sharing contributions
  • • Flexible PTO policy and paid volunteer days to support the communities we serve
