- • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure systems that support MoonPay’s end-to-end digital currency payments platform.
- • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to architect infrastructure solutions that enable seamless fiat-to-crypto onboarding for over 30 million users globally.
- • Implement and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, ensuring reliability, observability, and cost efficiency across global regions.
- • Automate deployment pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across U.S., UK, EU, Canada, and Australia by embedding security and audit controls into infrastructure design.
- • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical production systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining SLAs for enterprise partners.
- • Optimize system performance and scalability to support rapid growth of MoonPay’s consumer app and ecosystem integrations with 500+ partners.
- • Partner with security and compliance teams to enforce zero-trust architecture, secrets management, and data protection standards across all infrastructure layers.
- • Review and improve CI/CD workflows to accelerate feature delivery while maintaining system integrity and auditability.
- • Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and runbooks to ensure knowledge sharing and team scalability.
- • Evaluate emerging technologies and infrastructure patterns to enhance platform resilience, reduce operational overhead, and support global expansion.
- • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems, responding to alerts and resolving issues with urgency and precision.
- • Advocate for infrastructure best practices across engineering teams, promoting standardization, automation, and reliability as core engineering values.
- • Work in a hybrid model from MoonPay’s New York office, collaborating daily with cross-functional teams in engineering, product, and compliance.
- • Contribute to the development of infrastructure roadmaps aligned with MoonPay’s mission to make digital money as accessible as the internet.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering roles
- • Expertise in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch
- • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
- • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or Go)
- • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- • Deep understanding of security, compliance, and audit controls in regulated financial environments
