- • Senior Infrastructure Engineer at MLabs, a venture-backed fintech building stablecoin infrastructure to transform global money movement, where you will design and build an internal platform that enables product teams to deploy software with confidence, reliability, and speed by applying software engineering principles to infrastructure challenges.
- • Own and evolve core platform components including a TypeScript-based Pulumi codebase and Kubernetes-based runtime environments, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable through infrastructure as code and reusable abstractions.
- • Enforce high engineering standards by architecting distributed systems with strong attention to availability, consistency, and fault tolerance, while improving developer productivity through self-service internal platforms and "golden paths" that reduce cognitive load across engineering teams.
- • Design and maintain observability stacks by defining SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and operational dashboards, and participate in production operations including on-call rotations and incident response to ensure system reliability.
- • Collaborate with a mission-driven team of builders from high-performance finance and crypto backgrounds to create foundational infrastructure for a next-generation financial fabric, working in a fast-moving, well-funded startup environment during a period of high growth.
- • Develop deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, GitOps patterns, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code while contributing to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement in a remote-first role requiring significant overlap with Eastern Time business hours.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software engineering experience with significant focus on infrastructure and cloud domains
- • Strong programming skills in TypeScript or another strictly typed language
- • Deep understanding of AWS architecture and proven experience designing, operating, and scaling Kubernetes workloads
- • Strong grasp of distributed systems fundamentals including availability, consistency, and fault tolerance
- • Familiarity with GitOps patterns, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) systems
- • Ability to provide significant overlap with Eastern Time business hours
