- • Lead the Group Internal Audit function for XN Limited, a global wealth tech company with over 700 employees across 70 locations, responsible for establishing and executing internal audit strategy across regulated entities in the EU, UK, Hong Kong, and Dubai.
- • Provide independent assurance to the Board and Audit Committee on governance, risk management, and internal controls, working alongside one Internal Auditor while reporting administratively to the Group CFO and functionally to the Audit Committee.
- • Operate within a digital-first, risk-based audit function aligned with a fintech operating model, leveraging data and system access through automated processes, API-driven integrations, and cloud infrastructure rather than traditional document-heavy approaches.
- • Shape the internal audit function in a high-visibility role with direct engagement with senior leadership and regulators, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering cutting-edge centralized trading solutions and robust B2B financial infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- • Professional certification required: CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
- • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk/compliance roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory audit capacity
- • Extensive experience auditing regulated financial services firms across multiple jurisdictions, including direct experience with regulators (e.g., FCA, SFC, DFSA, EU NCAs) strongly preferred
- • Deep knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO), risk management standards, and IIA Standards, with systems thinking and digital fluency to understand end-to-end automated processes and technology architectures
