📋 Description

  • Arch Investments Group Ltd is seeking a proactive, results-driven Senior Internal Auditor to join the Global Internal Audit (IA) group supporting the Global Strategy & Infrastructure team. This role is critical to enhancing audit effectiveness, consistency, and value delivery by challenging existing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives that align with the company’s mission to enable possibility through collaboration, expertise, and innovation.
  • The Senior Internal Auditor will play a pivotal role in strengthening internal audit functions by leading strategic initiatives, preparing quarterly Audit Committee reports, maintaining IA policies and technology platforms, and building cross-functional partnerships with business, technology, and risk management teams to ensure audit practices remain aligned with evolving IIA Standards, SOX requirements, and industry best practices.
  • What the person will do day to day:
  • Challenge current internal audit operations to identify inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions that improve audit effectiveness and operational efficiency across global initiatives.
  • Lead, support, and coordinate strategic internal audit initiatives, including tracking key deliverables and milestones, and developing clear stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Monitor and stay current on evolving internal audit trends, SOX regulatory updates, IIA Standards revisions, and leading practices in risk management and audit methodology.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to internal audit processes, procedures, and workflows to increase consistency, scalability, and value creation for stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining internal audit policies, procedures, and standardized templates to ensure compliance and operational clarity.
  • Support the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of IA’s technology platforms and enabling tools, including data analytics and visualization systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive quarterly Audit Committee reports and supporting materials, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with governance expectations.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with business unit leaders, technology teams, and risk management partners to foster trust and proactive risk insight.
  • Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights clearly, professionally, and constructively to audiences at all organizational levels, from operational staff to executive leadership and the Audit Committee.
  • Foster a team-oriented, positive internal audit culture by actively contributing to knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous learning initiatives within the IA group.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years of internal audit or risk management experience in a public accounting firm and/or corporate organization
  • Solid understanding of internal audit and SOX processes, procedures, reporting requirements, and IIA Standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating audit workpapers, reports, and presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work products with sound professional judgment and attention to detail
