📋 Description

• As a Senior IT/GRC Auditor at Qodeworld, you will lead SOC 2 and other IT compliance engagements, ensuring high-quality audit delivery while guiding junior staff and maintaining strong client relationships in a fully remote LATAM-based role.
• You will lead ITGC and application control testing, perform walkthroughs and documentation for SOC 2, SOC 1, and HIPAA engagements, identify control gaps, provide remediation recommendations, and ensure timely progress updates with proactive issue escalation to management.
• Qodeworld is a fast-paced firm specializing in IT compliance and GRC services, offering a collaborative, remote-first environment where auditors contribute to meaningful client outcomes across industries.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in ITGC, application controls, and cloud environments, advance toward certifications like CISA or CISSP, and grow into a trusted advisor shaping compliance strategies for LATAM and global clients.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience performing IT audits with a focus on ITGC and application controls
• Strong working knowledge of SOC 2 and related frameworks (SOC 1, HIPAA)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MIS, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Strong client communication and project management skills
• Bilingual in English (required)
• Experience with GRC tools such as Vanta, Drata, or Secureframe (nice to have)
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) (nice to have)
• Progress toward CISA, CPA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification (nice to have)
