- • Independently manages multiple large and complex IT projects requiring high levels of functional integration and procedural change management.
- • Leads large cross-functional project teams composed of both business and technical stakeholders.
- • Serves as a consultative advisor to establish and implement appropriate people, processes, and tools to ensure effective project delivery and organizational success.
- • Oversees projects characterized by complex business and technical challenges, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- • Resolves escalated issues that demand both technical expertise and strong business acumen to minimize disruption to project timelines and business operations.
- • Determines and coordinates the allocation and sharing of leveraged resources across multiple concurrent projects.
- • Defines, implements, and consults on standardized project management methodologies, policies, and processes for relevant teams and initiatives.
- • Ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining rigorous oversight of scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- • Engages with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders using clear, adaptive communication to align expectations and drive consensus.
- • Applies knowledge of public sector procurement processes and compliance requirements to guide project execution and risk mitigation.
- • Utilizes project tracking and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Trello to monitor progress, manage dependencies, and deliver accurate status updates.
- • Maintains compliance with U.S. export control regulations by ensuring eligibility for required government authorizations related to access to controlled commodities and technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree and 6–8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- • 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in the public sector or with government clients
- • Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget
- • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile certifications preferred)
- • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and compliance requirements
- • Experience with project tracking tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello
