đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Senior IT Systems Engineer at Abridge AI, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and safeguarding the technological backbone of our rapidly growing healthcare AI company. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive ownership of our corporate infrastructure and endpoint ecosystem, from initial design and meticulous deployment to ensuring unwavering operational reliability. You will be at the forefront of managing and hardening our device fleet, maintaining the integrity of our cloud and network infrastructure, and guaranteeing that all systems adhere to the stringent configuration and compliance standards essential for a healthcare AI organization operating under critical frameworks like SOC 2 and HIPAA.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of corporate endpoints, encompassing macOS, iOS, and Linux devices. This includes developing and implementing robust imaging processes, sophisticated configuration management strategies, and rigorous patch enforcement mechanisms. You will be tasked with proactive compliance remediation, leveraging industry-leading Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as JAMF, Fleet, or their equivalents to maintain a secure and up-to-date endpoint environment.
  • • In the realm of infrastructure operations, you will manage and maintain key cloud infrastructure components across major providers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. This encompasses the critical areas of identity federation, intricate network segmentation, and robust access controls, ensuring a secure and efficient cloud presence that supports our corporate IT needs.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves security and compliance hardening. You will be responsible for implementing and rigorously enforcing industry-standard security benchmarks, such as CIS benchmarks, and establishing stringent endpoint security baselines. Your work will directly contribute to aligning our configurations with the demanding requirements of SOC 2 Trust Service Criteria and HIPAA technical safeguards, ensuring our systems are not only functional but also highly secure and audit-ready.
  • • Identity and Access Management (IAM) will be a core focus. You will administer and maintain our Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies, and directory services, including platforms like Okta and Google Workspace. A key part of this will be supporting and refining access provisioning and deprovisioning workflows to ensure that access is granted appropriately and revoked efficiently, maintaining the principle of least privilege.
  • • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and a comprehensive asset inventory is crucial. You will enforce configuration-as-code practices wherever applicable, promoting consistency, repeatability, and auditability across our infrastructure.
  • • This role demands strong cross-functional collaboration. You will partner closely with our Security, Engineering, and IT Automation teams to evaluate and integrate new tooling, provide essential support for audit requests, and continuously drive improvements in our overall infrastructure posture. Your insights and actions will directly impact the resilience, scalability, and security of Abridge's technological foundation.
  • • By taking ownership of these critical areas, you will play a vital role in enabling Abridge AI to continue its mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare, ensuring our platform's reliability and security as we scale and innovate. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technology in a regulated industry, making a tangible impact on healthcare delivery.
