- • The Senior IT Security Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in driving technology control and compliance practices across Velera, ensuring adherence to industry standards like PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and regulatory requirements while supporting the company’s mission to accelerate partners’ success through innovative fintech solutions.
- • Day to day, the analyst executes technology compliance duties with minimal oversight, including conducting segregation of duties reviews, validating user access controls, documenting compliance deliverables, supporting audits and assessments, mentoring team members, and coordinating vendor risk governance activities.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in IT control frameworks (COBIT, COSO, ITIL), gain hands-on experience with cloud security and financial services compliance, develop leadership skills through mentoring cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-visibility audit and board reporting initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Eight (8) years of relevant work experience in IT controls consulting/testing, PCI/NIST CSF assessments, IT auditing, and technology risk management, with required experience in financial services and cloud security controls
- • Cybersecurity risk management, governance, and control professional certification required (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT)
