  • • As Senior Lead, People at Moxie Software Inc., you will serve as a strategic partner and second-in-command to the Head of People, driving the company’s transition from startup to scaled organization by owning performance management systems, manager enablement programs, and People operations.
  • • You will own and transform the performance management infrastructure end-to-end, including selecting and implementing a modern performance management tool, redesigning calibration and feedback processes, and equipping managers to deliver meaningful development conversations.
  • • You will build and scale the manager enablement program from the ground up through a listening tour, pilot initiatives like manager roundtables and onboarding curriculum, and evolve it into a comprehensive support system that improves manager effectiveness.
  • • You will take full ownership of core People Operations, including HRIS management, employee lifecycle programs, onboarding/offboarding, and people analytics, streamlining processes and creating dashboards for real-time leadership insights.
  • • You will serve as a strategic thought partner to the Head of People, enabling them to focus on recruiting and high-level strategy while you ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and proactively address organizational challenges like career pathing and culture scaling.
  • • You will establish yourself as a trusted coach and resource for people managers, building cross-functional relationships with Finance, Legal, and leadership while becoming the go-to person for managerial guidance.
  • • Moxie Software empowers aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices without burnout, supporting 700+ practices nationwide with a remote-first team of 200+ employees growing to 250+.
  • • The company’s purpose is to unlock sustainable success for aesthetic entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey, backed by Series C funding and strong foundations needing modernization for sustainable scale.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of progressive People/HR experience with at least 3-4 years in a senior individual contributor or leadership role, ideally with experience scaling People functions at high-growth tech companies from 100-300 employees
  • • Deep expertise in performance management systems and manager development, including implementing performance management tools, designing calibration processes, and building manager enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in leadership quality
  • • Strong People Operations and systems thinking capabilities, including hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, people analytics, and process optimization, with comfort in both spreadsheets and strategic conversations
  • • Strategic partnership skills with executive presence, demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership, translate business needs into People programs, and balance big-picture thinking with flawless execution
  • • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity, proven ability to build programs from 0 to 1, make decisions with incomplete information, and thrive in fast-paced environments requiring ruthless prioritization and rapid delivery
  • • Genuine passion for developing managers and scaling culture, with energy for coaching leaders and belief that great managers are key to organizational success
