  • • Hims & Hers is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare, driven by a mission to empower individuals worldwide to feel their best through accessible, personalized, and effective health and wellness solutions. As a rapidly growing public company, we are committed to innovation and customer-centricity, offering a comprehensive platform that spans diagnosis, treatment, and delivery. Our approach is built on the understanding that each person's health journey is unique, and we provide tailored care designed for optimal results. By demystifying and addressing common health and wellness challenges, we make achieving better health outcomes a more attainable reality for everyone.
  • • This Principal HR Business Partner, Operations role is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of our expanding Operations network. As our physical and operational footprint grows, so does the critical need for a robust and scalable People model to support it. This position is not about maintaining the status quo; it is about architecting and building the foundational talent strategies, organizational designs, and leadership capabilities that will enable sustained operational excellence. You will be instrumental in defining the standards, establishing guiding principles for decision-making, and designing operating mechanisms that foster alignment between central leadership and site-level HR partners.
  • • Your primary focus will be to directly connect talent strategy with tangible operational performance. This involves ensuring our organization is strategically structured and adequately staffed to meet ambitious goals related to quality, efficiency, capacity, and scalability. Success in this role hinges on a combination of strong strategic judgment, rigorous analytical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively, even without direct authority. You will navigate ambiguity with confidence, make complex trade-offs transparent, and develop practical, reliable systems that leaders can depend on to drive their teams and operations forward.
  • • Key responsibilities include driving the overarching People strategy for all central Operations functions that operate across our diverse network. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders to architect scalable organizational structures that are intrinsically aligned with our overarching business strategy. A significant part of your role will involve building and implementing sophisticated workforce planning frameworks. These frameworks will be designed to proactively anticipate future growth trajectories, identify critical capability gaps within the workforce, and establish robust succession plans to ensure business continuity and leadership development.
  • • You will be responsible for establishing clear, consistent standards and decision principles for all people-related matters across the entire Operations division. This includes leveraging workforce data and deep talent insights to inform critical organizational and talent-related decisions, ensuring that our strategies are data-driven and impactful. You will also take the lead on significant cross-functional, network-wide talent initiatives, working in close partnership with key departments such as R&D, Quality, and our People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach.
  • • Furthermore, you will serve as a trusted coach to senior leaders, providing expert guidance on organizational effectiveness, strategic succession planning, and the development of leadership capabilities throughout the Operations function. A crucial aspect of your role will be to proactively identify systemic talent risks across the network and design practical, durable solutions to mitigate them. You will strive to create alignment and consistency in HR practices across all operational sites, while simultaneously ensuring that these practices are sensitive to and accommodate the unique operational realities of each location. This role requires a willingness to travel up to 15% to support these objectives and build strong relationships across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion spent in senior HR Business Partner roles within operational, manufacturing, or similarly complex, large-scale environments.
  • • Proven experience in building or fundamentally redefining the People strategy for a rapidly scaling organization, demonstrating a track record of strategic impact.
  • • Strong, demonstrable capabilities in organizational design and workforce planning, with experience at either a functional or enterprise-wide scale.
  • • A history of successfully influencing senior leaders and shaping strategic direction without direct reporting authority, showcasing exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • • Extensive experience utilizing workforce data and talent insights to drive impactful people decisions and strategies.
  • • Sound judgment and a high degree of discretion in handling complex organizational dynamics and sensitive employee matters.
  • • Comfort and proficiency in operating within ambiguous environments and a proven ability to build structure, processes, and frameworks where they do not yet exist.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and equity compensation package, reflecting the strategic importance of this role.
  • • Generous Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, complemented by company holidays and dedicated quarterly mental health days to support employee well-being.
  • • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with robust parental leave policies.
  • • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), offering a valuable opportunity to invest in the company's growth.
  • • 401k retirement savings plan with a generous employer matching contribution to support long-term financial security.
  • • Opportunities for connection and team building through offsite team retreats.
