• • Own the product that powers every step of Bariendo’s weight-loss journey. You will serve as the single-threaded owner of our proprietary longitudinal-care EHR, our patient-facing mobile app, and the self-serve web flows that convert curiosity into scheduled procedures. Your roadmap will touch every stakeholder—patients, providers, care-coordinators, insurance specialists, and executive leadership—making you the central nervous system of a company that is redefining obesity treatment.
• • Lead the completion and continuous evolution of Bariendo’s EHR, the first platform purpose-built for longitudinal weight care. Translate nuanced clinical workflows (pre-op assessments, endoscopic notes, post-procedure monitoring, GLP-1 titration protocols) into intuitive, HIPAA-compliant screens that reduce documentation time by 30 % while surfacing the insights clinicians need to deliver safer, more effective care. Partner with our Harvard-trained medical advisors to ensure every field, alert, and template is evidence-based and audit-ready.
• • Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our patient mobile app—from onboarding quizzes that determine medical eligibility to daily trackers for nutrition, mood, and medication adherence. Ship features that feel as delightful as the best consumer apps yet meet FDA and clinical-quality standards. Run A/B tests that lift onboarding completion rates, reduce no-shows, and increase 12-month retention.
• • Own the eligibility funnel and self-serve scheduling flow on bariendo.com. Analyze drop-off points, design friction-killing experiments, and partner with growth marketing to double qualified lead volume without sacrificing clinical appropriateness. Your work will directly influence CAC, payback period, and ultimately how many patients we can help this year.
• • Build and scale internal operations tools that orchestrate scheduling across distributed clinics, verify insurance benefits in real time, and route patients to the right provider based on geography, acuity, and capacity. Create dashboards that give Ops leaders a live view of utilization, wait times, and revenue—turning chaos into clarity.
• • Champion user research. Spend time in our Market Street clinic observing endoscopic procedures, sit in on telehealth consults, and interview patients who’ve lost 50+ lbs to understand what keeps them engaged. Translate qualitative insights into quantitative hypotheses and measurable OKRs.
• • Collaborate daily with engineering, design, clinical, and operations in tight two-week sprints. Write crisp PRDs that capture edge cases, regulatory constraints, and success metrics. Make fast, data-driven trade-offs when clinical rigor conflicts with speed to market.
• • Establish the product culture at Bariendo. Introduce lightweight rituals—weekly demo days, monthly roadmap reviews, quarterly OKR retros—that keep a 40-person startup aligned and accountable. Mentor junior PMs and inspire the entire company to think in terms of patient outcomes first.
• • Influence company-level strategy. Bring the voice of the patient and provider into board meetings, pricing discussions, and partnership negotiations. Your insights will shape which procedures we launch next, which payers we target, and how we scale nationally over the next 24 months.
