• • Senior Legal Counsel at InKind Funding Inc. provides critical legal, regulatory, and compliance support during a high-growth phase, advising leadership and cross-functional teams on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters to enable innovation while managing risk.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (vendor, partnership, client, financing, NDAs, service agreements), supporting employment law compliance, assisting with corporate governance and board materials, identifying and mitigating legal risks through policy development, monitoring legislative and regulatory changes, partnering with finance on corporate transactions, managing outside counsel, and interpreting contractual and regulatory requirements across the organization.
