- • As Senior Legal Counsel at Eqvilent AB, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to commercial, technology, and HR teams, ensuring professional excellence and integrity in all legal matters while supporting the company’s global operations.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and employment contracts across jurisdictions, managing the full contract lifecycle, maintaining contract repositories and compliance documentation, preparing management reports, and providing second-pair-of-eyes reviews to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- • You will join a dynamic, international Legal & Compliance team at Eqvilent AB, a forward-thinking company that values legal precision, business alignment, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote-first environment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in multi-jurisdictional contract law, enhance your skills in AI-assisted legal drafting, strengthen stakeholder partnership abilities, and contribute to scalable legal processes while growing professionally in a supportive, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree in Law or compatible fields preferred
- • 7+ years of experience in a contract department of a reputable in-house company, corporate secretarial function, or international law firm, preferably managing multiple jurisdictions
- • Strong understanding of general principles of contract law, corporate governance, and legal/regulatory frameworks across common law and continental law jurisdictions
- • Excellent contracts drafting skills and ability to write effective AI prompts
- • Advanced knowledge of English; fluency in Russian is a nice-to-have
