- • As Senior Legal Counsel - Employment Law at Adyen, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's global employment law strategy, ensuring compliance, scalability, and alignment with Adyen's ambitious growth and high-performance culture.
- • You will provide hands-on legal advice to senior leadership, manage the full employee lifecycle, lead on complex employee relations issues, develop global policies and training programs, and partner with HR and Rewards on equity and incentive structures.
- • You will join Adyen’s People team in Amsterdam, collaborating with a small cross-regional team of employment law experts and the broader Legal team to uphold the Legal Control Framework and support ethical, innovative solutions at scale.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global employment law, drive data-driven decision-making through insights and scaling initiatives, and grow your impact as a trusted advisor influencing people strategy and organizational resilience across international jurisdictions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Attorney with 10+ years of corporate legal experience, preferably as in-house counsel at a publicly listed company in an international setting
- • Specialized in Dutch labour law with proven experience advising across multiple international jurisdictions and developing globally scalable strategies
- • Experience advising senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders on strategic employment law matters
- • Experience engaging with Dutch Works Councils
- • Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
- • Ability to work from the Amsterdam office with periodic travel to other offices
