- • As a Senior Legal Counsel at Eqvilent AB, you will serve as a trusted legal partner to the business and an operator within the legal team, owning mandates end-to-end and leading cross-functional initiatives with direct access to the CEO when needed.
- • Day to day, you will lead legal support for market expansion, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, support corporate transactions, manage legal and cross-functional projects, monitor regulatory developments, support licensing and compliance in regulated markets, advise internal teams on commercial and employment matters, and manage external counsel for quality and cost-effectiveness.
- • Eqvilent AB is a forward-thinking company operating with modern tools and an AI-native mindset, expanding internationally across jurisdictions including Malta, India, and the UAE/DIFC, with a legal team that values initiative, commercial awareness, and rigorous legal thinking.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in international commercial law, regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and strategic legal advisory, while gaining direct exposure to CEO-level decision-making and leading high-impact projects that shape the company’s global growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of post-qualification experience
- • Meaningful experience at a major international or top-tier regional law firm
- • Proven track record managing complex, multi-jurisdictional legal projects independently and to deadline
- • Advanced user of Google Workspace and modern AI platforms (e.g., Gemini, Claude)
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to translate legal analysis into actionable business guidance
- • Highly organised, deadline-driven, and composed under pressure across competing priorities
