- • As a Senior Legal Engineer at Ironclad, you will be a product expert and problem solver responsible for understanding customer goals and advising on contracting processes to help customers realize their vision for Ironclad and set them up for long-term success.
- • You will lead 5-15 customer implementations simultaneously, collaborate with professional service teams to manage projects, ensure on-time delivery, and drive successful implementations while applying best practices and advising customers on managing contracts throughout the lifecycle via reports, metrics, and reminders.
- • You will work within Ironclad’s Customer Outcomes team, a core function that works cross-functionally to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, partnering with Sales, Support, and Customer Success to ensure customer success.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-powered contract lifecycle management, develop skills in technical consulting and customer advisory, influence product development through customer feedback, and grow as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients navigating complex legal, sales, procurement, and IT dynamics.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional service and/or consulting experience with software companies, preferably B2B SaaS and experience with integrations
- • Demonstrated capability to establish meaningful relationships with customers, hold customers accountable, and manage customer expectations and escalations effectively
- • Ability to successfully navigate enterprise customers’ complex organizational structures, including understanding the dynamics and priorities of Legal, Sales, Procurement, and/or IT teams
- • Familiarity with CLM (contract lifecycle management) and legal operations business processes
- • AI Wisdom: A grounded understanding of what AI can and can’t do in practice, with the ability to critically examine outputs and anticipate where AI is likely to fail or introduce risk in a legal context
- • Prompting Expertise: Experience diagnosing why an AI interaction went wrong and iterating on prompts to get better results, particularly in contracting scenarios
