- • As a Senior Legal Operations Specialist at Olo Inc., you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s AI and technology-forward legal practice by owning and driving the implementation of automation and AI tools across legal workflows, directly supporting Olo’s mission to accelerate digital transformation in the restaurant industry through innovative SaaS solutions.
- • You will ensure the legal department operates with greater efficiency, scalability, and strategic impact by managing end-to-end technology initiatives, optimizing processes, and enabling the legal team to focus on high-value work that supports Olo’s growth and compliance objectives.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the strategy, deployment, and adoption of legal technology solutions, particularly AI-powered tools for contract lifecycle management, matter tracking, and legal intake, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and alignment with business needs.
- • You will design, document, and continuously improve legal workflows and standard operating procedures, leveraging process mapping and automation principles to reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and enhance cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders.
- • You will manage the administration and maintenance of legal technology platforms, including user access, data governance, reporting dashboards, and system updates, while serving as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and user support.
- • You will support Olo’s privacy program by applying your knowledge of privacy compliance frameworks (such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations) to assist in data mapping, policy implementation, and risk assessment activities under the guidance of the Deputy General Counsel, Privacy and Technology.
- • You will collaborate closely with the legal team to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and translate legal needs into actionable technology roadmaps, ensuring that solutions are both technically sound and practically useful for attorneys and paralegals.
- • You will partner with IT and external vendors to evaluate, test, and onboard new legal tech tools, conducting due diligence, managing contracts, and overseeing implementation timelines and change management efforts.
- • You will generate and analyze operational metrics and KPIs related to legal performance, matter volume, cycle times, and technology utilization, using data to drive continuous improvement and inform leadership decisions.
- • You will contribute to a culture of innovation within the legal department by staying current on emerging legal tech trends, piloting new tools, and sharing best practices that enhance Olo’s reputation as a forward-thinking, technology-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in legal operations, legal technology implementation, or a related role supporting in-house legal teams, with a strong track record of deploying and managing legal tech solutions such as contract management systems, matter management tools, or AI-powered legal software.
- • Demonstrated experience working with AI and automation tools in a legal or compliance context, including familiarity with AI use cases for contract review, legal research, or matter triage, and the ability to assess, implement, and train others on such technologies.
- • Solid understanding of privacy compliance principles and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CPRA), with practical experience supporting privacy programs, data mapping, or regulatory compliance initiatives within a corporate environment.
- • Excellent project management and process improvement skills, including the ability to document workflows, manage stakeholders, drive change adoption, and measure the impact of operational initiatives using data and metrics.
- • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with proven success working across functions—particularly with Legal, IT, Finance, and Sales—to gather requirements, build consensus, and ensure successful technology rollouts.
- • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification in legal studies, business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred.
