- • The Senior HR Compensation Analyst provides professional leadership and coordination in planning, implementing, and administering job classification and compensation programs for the University of Mississippi Medical Center, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and analyzing competitive compensation practices, evaluating job classifications, developing job descriptions, conducting compensation surveys, monitoring market trends, providing analytical support for pay changes, and advising HR and constituencies on compensation-related issues.
- • The role is part of the Human Resources Information System & Compensation team within a large academic medical center, supporting strategic HR initiatives through data-driven compensation analysis and policy development.
- • The analyst will develop expertise in healthcare compensation systems, job evaluation methodologies, regulatory compliance, and strategic HR partnership, gaining experience in influencing organizational pay structures and supporting talent management goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional compensation administration experience
- • Knowledge of federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations
- • Skill in analyzing job content, writing accurate job descriptions, and using Microsoft Office products
- • Hospital and/or healthcare institution experience preferred
- • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
