- • Design and build large-scale offline ML experimentation platforms to enable reproducible research, model development, evaluation, and promotion workflows for Reddit’s Ads ML team.
- • Develop production-grade training orchestration frameworks that support distributed training, hyperparameter optimization, model evaluation, and automated retraining at scale.
- • Build infrastructure for experiment tracking, metadata management, lineage tracking, artifact versioning, and model registries to ensure reproducibility and auditability across ML workflows.
- • Partner closely with ML engineers and researchers to improve experimentation velocity, reduce operational friction, and enhance developer productivity across the ML lifecycle.
- • Design and implement automated workflows for model promotion, rollback, compliance validation, and continuous evaluation to ensure reliable and safe model deployments.
- • Architect and build an agentic AI execution platform that supports autonomous and human-in-the-loop workflows, including multi-agent orchestration, memory and context systems, and scalable workflow infrastructure.
- • Create developer-centric tooling and platform APIs that enable self-service access to ML infrastructure for non-platform engineers across Reddit’s Ads ML organization.
- • Operate and scale distributed data processing systems such as Spark, Flink, or Ray to support high-throughput ML training and evaluation pipelines.
- • Implement and maintain orchestration frameworks such as Kubeflow, Argo, or Airflow to manage complex ML workflows and automate end-to-end model development cycles.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Reddit’s ML devX platform by integrating emerging agentic AI architectures, including MCP, A2A, and other agent communication and runtime frameworks.
- • Ensure platform reliability, observability, and scalability to support 100,000+ active communities and 126 million daily active users across Reddit’s advertising ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering or large-scale distributed systems.
- • 2+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production ML infrastructure, developer SDKs, platform APIs, or self-service AI tooling.
- • Experience building workflow orchestration systems, developer platforms, or large-scale automation frameworks.
- • Experience with distributed data processing systems such as Spark, Flink, Ray, or equivalent technologies.
- • Experience with modern orchestration and workflow technologies such as Kubeflow, Argo, Airflow, or similar frameworks.
- • Experience building offline ML experimentation platforms, model registries, experiment tracking systems, or training orchestration frameworks.
