📋 Description

• Lead the development and scaling of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer-facing Agentic AI product, leveraging LLMs, agents, and internal APIs to automate >70% of inbound sales and service requests (over 50k chats per month) and drive innovation in voicebot, computer use, and consumer AI applications.
• Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy while establishing AI best practices and platform standards across the organization.
• Serve as the technical translator between engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, driving systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation and collaboration with partners like OpenAI.
• Own the end-to-end roadmap for AI platform development, from initial concept to rollout, ensuring unified ownership of a fragmented AI infrastructure currently spread across six separate locations.
• Join a profitable, pre-IPO startup with $240M in funding, 5M+ customers, and a flat org chart where you’ll report directly to the COO and lead one of the company’s most critical growth levers in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a technical role such as forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or similar at a fast-paced startup.
• Deep passion and curiosity for AI systems, including modern LLMs, with a habit of staying current with model releases and building custom workflows.
• Proven track record of taking complex, strategic AI ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products.
• Comfortable working with SQL and diving into data to validate hypotheses and drive data-informed decisions.
• Strong systems thinking ability — adept at navigating API design, system architecture, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
