Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as a core member of the central BizOps & Analytics team, embedded within one of Jerry’s core business units: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships.
- • Define the critical business questions that drive decision-making, pushing back on flawed or misaligned problems before initiating any analysis.
- • Independently pull, structure, clean, and interpret data using SQL (ClickHouse), Python, and Jupyter Hub to uncover actionable insights that impact key business metrics.
- • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Metabase to monitor performance, track progress toward goals, and enable data-driven conversations across teams.
- • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses, measure impact, and optimize outcomes in product features, marketing campaigns, or operational workflows.
- • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, persuasive recommendations that influence leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in product, growth, finance, and operations.
- • Own end-to-end execution of initiatives — from identifying the problem and gathering data to driving implementation and measuring results — without relying on separate teams for delivery.
- • Act as a first-principles problem solver: break down ambiguous, high-stakes business challenges into testable hypotheses before touching data or building models.
- • Communicate directly and precisely with stakeholders, avoiding jargon and burying the lede; ensure insights are understood and acted upon quickly.
- • Take ownership of outcomes beyond your formal scope — if a metric is underperforming or a process is broken, initiate fixes even if it falls outside your official responsibilities.
- • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to align data infrastructure, reporting needs, and analytical priorities with business objectives.
- • Contribute to scaling Jerry’s analytical capabilities as the company grows from 5M to 50M customers and targets a $10B valuation within four years.
- • Work in a no-slides, no-fluff environment where only work that materially moves the business forward is prioritized — no reformatting decks or attending unnecessary meetings.
- • Operate with autonomy and accountability: you are expected to lead without formal authority, drive consensus through data, and deliver impact without waiting for approvals.
- • Use GitHub for version control of analytical code and collaborate with other analysts and engineers on shared data pipelines and tools.
- • Stay at the forefront of analytical best practices, continuously improving how data informs strategy and execution across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, or Excel for independent data pulling, structuring, and interpretation
- • Proven track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable business impact
- • Clear, persuasive communication skills with ability to influence decisions at the leadership level
- • Experience embedding within product, growth, or operations teams to drive data-informed outcomes
- • Comfort with fast-paced, high-autonomy environments where execution is as critical as analysis
🏖️ Benefits
- • Health, dental, and vision coverage
- • Paid time off
- • Paid parental leave
- • 401(k) plan with employer matching
- • Wellness benefits
- • Equity grant opportunities
