- • Architect the cluster-wide growth playbook: partner with the South Cluster Head to design a 3-year revenue and share-growth roadmap that balances short-term yield maximization with long-term strategic bets, integrating TV, Digital, and Regional cross-sell levers into one unified plan.
- • Build and continuously refine a living, breathing performance cockpit: create automated dashboards that track weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs across all South properties, ensuring every sales leader wakes up to the same single version of the truth and can act on risks or opportunities within 24 hours.
- • Lead competitive war-room analyses: benchmark JioStar’s share-of-voice, pricing, and inventory utilization against Star, Zee, Sun, and emerging OTT players, distilling findings into actionable battle cards that empower sales teams to win high-stakes pitches and renewals.
- • Drive the annual deal-making cycle: consolidate pricing, inventory, and growth assumptions from individual language PRS leads into one cluster-level negotiation pack, stress-testing scenarios and ensuring every rupee of inventory is optimally monetized across linear and digital platforms.
- • Champion cross-language bundling: identify untapped advertiser demand that can be unlocked through multi-language, multi-platform packages, and co-create bespoke proposals with sales that have already delivered 15-20% incremental revenue in pilot markets.
- • Institutionalize best-practice sharing: run fortnightly forums where Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam analytics teams present breakthrough insights, ensuring innovations in one language are rapidly scaled across the cluster.
- • Own the consolidated South budget: build, track, and reforecast a unified P&L that aggregates individual language budgets into one cluster view, flagging variance >2% within 48 hours and recommending corrective levers to the Cluster Head.
- • Be the voice of data in every senior leadership meeting: translate complex statistical findings into compelling 5-slide stories that secure buy-in from Sales, Programming, Ad-Sales Ops, and C-suite stakeholders, often tipping the scales on multi-crore decisions.
- • Mentor and elevate a high-performing analytics pod: coach 3-4 analysts across languages on advanced SQL, Python, and visualization techniques, while fostering a culture where curiosity, speed, and commercial impact are celebrated daily.
- • Pioneer next-gen measurement: experiment with AI-driven attribution models that quantify the incremental impact of TV+Digital campaigns on offline sales, positioning JioStar as the first Indian network to offer true ROI guarantees to FMCG and Auto giants.
- • Ensure zero surprises: publish a Monday-morning “South Pulse” report that pre-emptively highlights revenue risks, inventory slippage, or competitive moves, enabling the Cluster Head to course-correct before the week’s sales huddles.
- • Drive governance and consistency: standardize metric definitions, dashboard templates, and data refresh cadences across languages, eliminating the chaos of conflicting numbers and freeing up 20% more analyst time for insight generation.
🎯 Requirements
- • MBA or equivalent with 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in Media, Consulting, Analytics, or Strategy roles
- • Proven mastery of TV and Digital media ecosystems, including BARC, TAM, Comscore, and Google Analytics data sets
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI, and Excel modeling; ability to wrangle multi-million-row data sets into executive-level insights
- • Demonstrated success in owning revenue or P&L accountability exceeding ₹500 crore annually
- • Exceptional storytelling and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing C-level decisions through data-driven narratives
