  • • As a Senior Manager, Clinical Trial Management at Precision for Medicine (part of PFM Asset Management), you will lead and develop a team of Clinical Trial Managers, Senior CTMs, Principal CTMs, and other MCTMs, ensuring alignment with organizational quality standards and driving operational excellence in clinical trial execution across global programs. This role is pivotal in building leadership capacity within the Clinical Trial Management function, directly impacting study quality, timelines, and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading, mentoring, coaching, and managing direct reports to support skill development, performance, and career progression; providing oversight across clinical programs and trial execution where applicable; partnering with Clinical Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to refine CTM processes, enhance quality, consistency, efficiency, and KPI attainment; collaborating with Resourcing to ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation; setting strategic action plans and delivering ongoing performance feedback, technical guidance, and developmental support; ensuring CTMs have access to necessary training, tools, systems, and resources; identifying quality risks, recommending corrective actions, and escalating issues to leadership, PMs, and DPMs as needed; ensuring compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, project plans, and quality standards; developing and updating Clinical Operations SOPs, templates, and work instructions; supporting CTM hiring, onboarding, and training in coordination with HR and Learning & Development; and promoting Precision’s values while completing additional duties as assigned by leadership.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • Graduate, postgraduate, or 4-year college degree (or equivalent experience) ideally in a scientific or health-related field
  • • 10 years of industry experience in clinical research, including clinical operations experience in a pharmaceutical company or CRO, or proven competencies for this position
  • • Experience managing clinical aspects of complex and global trials
  • • Previous CTM line management experience
  • • Working knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and the clinical development process
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team interface
  • • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service demeanor
  • • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • • Ability to travel domestically and internationally including overnight stays
  • • Direct work experience in a global, cross-functional clinical management environment
  • • Proven experience in people management with high emotional intelligence
  • • Ability to develop, coach, and mentor CTM staff while holding personnel accountable for goal achievement and training needs
  • • Proven experience in risk management and change management
  • • High level of integrity, with the ability to inspire and demand the highest standards from assigned CTMs
  • • High self-motivation and ability to work and plan independently as well as in a team environment
  • • Excellent time management, negotiation, critical thinking, decision making, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • • Demonstrated successful independent negotiation and conflict management strategies
  • • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, including punctuality, commitment delivery, understanding of service culture, and positive interactions with customers and team
