- • Lead the identification, evaluation, and advancement of strategic growth opportunities across Zillow Group’s lines of business, including the Agent Software SaaS platform.
- • Research and recommend acquisition targets aligned with Zillow’s Housing Super App vision, leveraging market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- • Perform comprehensive financial and strategic analysis of potential acquisition targets, including valuation, synergies, and risk assessment.
- • Support all phases of M&A transactions—from sourcing and due diligence to structuring, negotiation, closing, and post-merger integration.
- • Build and maintain detailed, flexible three-statement financial models to evaluate organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including partnerships.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, finance, legal, and strategy teams to ensure integrated perspectives on M&A and strategic decisions.
- • Partner with the Strategy & Partnerships team to evaluate and execute new business strategies and alliance opportunities.
- • Synthesize complex data and apply strategic frameworks to inform executive-level business decisions and long-term planning.
- • Develop clear, persuasive insights and communicate recommendations effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- • Manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously with strong project management discipline and ownership mentality.
- • Question assumptions, take responsibility for analytical conclusions, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- • Leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making in day-to-day M&A and financial analysis workflows.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with corporate finance principles, financial statement analysis, and valuation methodologies.
- • Demonstrate strong initiative and judgment while leading internal and external stakeholders in a fully remote work environment.
- • Apply expertise in SaaS or software business models to assess technology-driven acquisition targets and growth strategies.
- • Maintain a passion for technology and/or real estate markets to inform strategic priorities and market understanding.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- • 5+ years of experience including at least 2 years in investment banking or private equity, plus corporate development or strategic finance experience at a technology company
- • Strong three-statement financial modeling skills
- • Deep financial analysis skills and ability to apply financial concepts to novel business situations
- • Experience performing M&A transactions through the full process
- • Strategic thinker with ability to form original insights and shape business strategy

- • Competitive base salary ranging from $145,900.00 - $245,400.00 annually depending on location
