- • ZayZoon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Data (Engineering & Analytics) to lead the evolution of our data platform and transform raw data into actionable insights. This pivotal role requires a player-coach who can both strategize and execute, building a reliable, scalable, and trustworthy data ecosystem that underpins ZayZoon's rapid growth.
- • As a leader, you will be instrumental in defining ZayZoon's data vision, establishing the foundational principles for data infrastructure, modeling, and analytics as the company scales. Your primary objective will be to ensure that data is not just available, but is a trusted and accessible resource for all teams, driving informed decision-making across the organization.
- • You will be responsible for building core data foundations from the ground up. This includes establishing secure, reliable, and accessible systems that teams can depend on for their daily operations and strategic planning. The emphasis will be on creating robust ETL pipelines, efficient data warehousing solutions, and implementing effective data orchestration and governance practices.
- • A key aspect of this role is the implementation of simple yet effective data governance. You will clarify data ownership, establish clear standards, and ensure comprehensive documentation without creating unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles. 🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a minimum of 3 years in direct people management.
- • Deep expertise across the full data stack, including data sources, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, orchestration tools, data governance, and analytics platforms.
- • Proven experience in setting up north star metrics and KPI frameworks, and guiding teams through process, governance, and tool changes.
- • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, balancing immediate business needs with long-term scalability, and knowledge of how systems like CRM, CDP, and data warehouses integrate.
- • Demonstrated success in building and leading data engineering and analytics teams, fostering data trust and adoption within an organization.
